I am Dr. Nicole Pfiester, an Assistant Professor in the Physics and Optical Engineering Department at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
I am a nanofabrication specialist with experience in optoelectronic devices and metamaterials. I combine physics and materials science approaches to develop solutions that improve the performance of electrical devices. My work has looked at antenna-coupled photodetectors for long-wave infrared wavelengths, developing metamaterial devices to enhance the performance of thermophotovoltaic cells, and continues to apply exotic materials to metasurface optics. |
